15+ years of related experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field is highly preferred.
Must have Teradata SQL, due to business logic embedded in the queries.
Significant experience with the Teradata optimizer is required.
Must have a thorough understanding of the internal 'DBC Accounting' information.
A working knowledge of how MicroStrategy and other OLAP tools interact with Teradata.
Knowledge of Ab Initio tools, architecture, process and analytics
A working knowledge of the major competing Data Warehouse modeling techniques (Third-Normal-Form and Dimensional modeling)
A working knowledge of GDE (Graphical Development Environment
used by Ab Initio)
A working knowledge of Web API development.
A working knowledge of storing, reading and analyzing streaming data – i.e., Kafka, MQSeries, or similar technologies, such as JMS.
A working knowledge of Cloud technology
