Lead the proposal preparation process by guiding and expediting submission elements by team members responsible for the development of proposal content
Analyze the requirements of RFPs and determines what information needs to be included in the proposal; coordinates response efforts with management, technical, proposal and marketing staff to meet submission requirements and deadlines
Write and coordinate proposals with multiple time-sensitive deadlines in response to management leads
Develop and prepares proposals using the input obtained from all sources in a concise, responsive, logical fashion, while ensuring the information provided complies with the specifications.
Draft, edit, and finalize proposals for submission to clients; manages production and delivery throughout the entire proposal process
Ensure proposals are delivered by the prescribed methods (online, hand delivered, etc.) by deadlines
Search relevant bid sites for potential opportunities as lead consultants and sub-consultants
Enter leads in SalesForce and update as the leads progress to proposals and jobs
Maintain proposal content database i.e. sourcing and uploading case studies, standard templates, and other related materials
Assist in marketing and business development initiatives
Requirements
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, English, Communications, Journalism or other relevant discipline
2+ years of proposal writing experience (or similar) including direct experience with EOI’s, RFP’s and RFQ’s as well as other forms of tender documents
Understanding of professional services / construction / real estate industry is preferred
Bilingual (French/English) would be considered an asset
Strong writing skills in order to create comprehensive correspondence, proposal responses, and client presentations
Ability to interact and build relationships with management and staff at all levels of the organization
Superior organization and time management abilities
Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage people and information to create best-in-class documents under pressure: demonstrated ability to quickly change tasks as demands change
Superior MS office skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel; Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop Publisher, Visio, Salesforce and Sharepoint experience considered an asset
Must be able to create aesthetically pleasing proposals and information material, format, insert photos/graphics, manipulate layout, etc. in line with Altus Group branding guidelines (knowledge of Photoshop or similar software would be desirable).
