Assist clients throughout the deal cycle from strategy to successful deal closing
Participate or lead parts of financial due diligence projects and demonstrate sound understanding of financial analysis and financial reporting requirements, ask challenging questions about the target’s business and show critical thinking
Design, develop, interpret and adapt financial models for the purposes of valuation, sensitivity analyses, business planning and feasibility analyses
Develop understanding of key engagement objectives and the client’s business, regulatory and industry environment
Write reports and discussion papers
Support the leadership in the development of new business opportunities, including preparation of proposals and pitches.
Requirements
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting
Ongoing participation in and/or completion of one of the following professional qualifications is an advantage: CFA, ACCA, CPA and CIMA
5 years of work experience in an assurance, advisory and/or a finance related role
Candidates with less experience (3-4 years) will be considered for a Senior Consultant role
Previous Big 4 experience will be considered a plus
Strong numerical and financial analytical skills and general business understanding and knowledge
Strong report writing skills
Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
Ability to understand complex problems and devise, communicate and implement workable solutions
Ability to operate in a multitasking environment
A confident and outgoing personality, strong communication skills
Strong desire to learn.
