Actively participate in sourcing and industrialization processes to achieve zero Customer Defects
Lead sourcing and product engineering preventive assessment of design to manufacturing
Ensure quality is flexible and reacts to changing demands
Provide engineering support to supplier manufacturing processes
Collaborate with sourcing and engineering departments
Lead supplier eligibility assessment and surveillance audits
Manage daily shop issues related to supplied parts
Lead problem-solving events for internal scraps and supplier escapes
Conduct risk assessments and promote continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Master’s degree in engineering or science
Proven track record of minimum 3 year-experience in driving quality assurance and control in Casting Foundries, or proven experience in SQ for casting suppliers
Strong Knowledge of GD&T, and basic knowledge in special processes HT and NDT, FPI, MPI and Xray inspection
Strong knowledge of MSA is mandatory
Proven track record of main quality tools: PDCA Ishikawa diagram/3x5L Why SIPOC/Process Flow Diagram/Process Flow Chart Production Control Plan/FMEA APQP/PPAP SPC/Run Charts MSA
English fluently spoken.
Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
