Role Overview
- Lead technical staff in the preparation of utility engineering designs, cost estimates, and customer billing
- Manage the engineering aspects of multiple projects ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV
- Assist in the development of technical staff through mentoring and instruction
- Instruct technical staff in the use of computer systems, software, tools, and equipment
- Manage professional communication with stakeholders
- Coordinate internal/external reviews of designs prior to submissions
- Collaborate with department managers to develop and implement new policies and procedures
- Maintain client relationships and seek new opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering
- 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Active Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure
- Experience with PLS-CADD, MFAD, AutoCAD
- 5+ years of experience in Power Transmission Design
- Advanced knowledge of overhead & underground Transmission facilities
- Proficiency in MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project)
