Product strategy & roadmap: Provide input and feedback on product strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals and long-term direction. Connect near-term feature delivery to long-term outcomes (customer value, platform strategy, and business impact).
Customer discovery & voice of customer: Act as the voice of the customer by running discovery, gathering early feedback, and validating problems before development. Synthesize insights from customer conversations, support/CS feedback, market research, and product data into clear priorities.
Requirements & prioritization: Translate customer and business needs into well-structured product requirements (problem statements, success metrics, functional & non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria). Own prioritization within features, balancing customer impact, technical feasibility, time-to-value, and commercial value.
Cross-functional delivery: Collaborate closely with engineering and design through discovery, delivery, and iteration bringing clarity, trade-offs, and decision-making. Collaborate with design and engineering, to deliver features aligned with the requirements and support in testing new functionality. Partner with marketing, sales, customer success, and leadership to drive go-to-market readiness by supporting positioning, launch narrative, and input into packaging/pricing.
Enablement, documentation & launches: Own product documentation updates (internal) to ensure features are understandable, and supportable. Plan and run enablement sessions for internal teams (Sales, CS, Support) to drive consistent messaging and effective customer adoption. Support early feedback programs (e.g., beta/early access) to shape the feature before broad rollout and reduce launch risk.
Market & competitive awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor moves, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and guide innovation.
Strong technical acumen: able to understand complex systems, and collaborate effectively with engineers (APIs, integrations, identity/access, reliability/performance concepts, etc.)
Ability to zoom in/out: go deep into detail when needed, but also drive high-level direction and decision-making that maps to strategy.
Strong analytical skills: comfortable using data to shape hypotheses, prioritize, and measure impact.
Experience with agile product development and working in cross-functional teams.
