Processing a variety of rail data including but not limited to
Ensure all processed data meets internal Phase One quality assurance requirements followed by phase two where applicable.
Identify anomalies in the data and report to technical manager immediately.
Carry out the appropriate tasks as outlined/briefed by the CAD Coordinator or project manager responsible.
Liaise with field teams to clarify data queries, verify information, and ensure efficient data handover.
Maintain accurate records of processed datasets and project documentation.
Maintain accurate QA documentation for all stages of the project relevant to your area.
Collaborate with team members across departments to meet project deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement.
Assist with training and mentoring of junior staff when required.
Produce detailed technical drawings and models for rail infrastructure including track layouts, signalling interfaces, gauging outputs, asset mapping, and monitoring schemes.
Notify the CAD Coordinator of daily progress, also notify of any potential issues.
Understanding of data analysis and being able to identify possible trends in data and report.
Requirements
Previous experience of high accuracy Amberg data processing for both the IMS3000 & IMS5000.
Understanding of processing rail survey data from a variety of sources.
Have knowledge of survey techniques, methodologies, site limitations and survey equipment.
Have knowledge of alternative rail data systems e.g. Mephisto, Gedo etc.
Capable of survey control network adjustments including the use of StarNet
Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail in analysing and interpreting all types of rail geospatial data.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
Understand scopes of work and project requirements.
Experience of AutoCAD/MicroStation/N4ce (specifically Height & Stagger Manual extraction as well as .Sc0 Manual extraction) /FME and relevant workflow use.
Experience of Platform gauge & Datum plate surveys

Experience as a site-based land surveyor/engineer (Desired but not essential)
