About this role
Role Overview
- Take ownership of our test automation suite
- Maintain and improve our existing frameworks (Playwright + Cucumber)
- Ensure automated tests are tightly integrated into our CI/CD pipelines
- Balance automation with hands-on testing
- Perform manual tests for new features or edge cases
- Contribute to our quality strategy and bring a voice to risk-based testing
- Support production issue resolution and learning
- Work with engineering and product to ensure releases are well-tested
- Share QA best practices, lead by example in code reviews and retros
Requirements
- 8+ years in QA roles, with experience in both automated and manual testing
- Hands-on with Cucumber and Playwright
- AI-savviness, curiosity and enthusiasm
- proven optimisation of your workflows through AI
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, including test integration
- Skilled in API testing and risk-based testing approaches
- Comfortable writing SQL queries (PostgreSQL especially)
- Bonus points if you’ve dabbled in performance/load testing
- Bonus points if you’ve tested in Docker/Kubernetes-based environments
- Bonus points if you have basic React skills.
