You’ll spend a significant amount of time continuously discovering users and their pain points. You will interview users, conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, and dive into our data platform to gather insights on what needs to be solved.
With those insights and the company’s objectives in mind, you’ll be empowered to define your OKRs and roadmaps to have the strongest possible impact on solving user problems and achieving company goals.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with a Product Designer dedicated to your squad and with product-oriented engineers. You will start with small steps (we favour the MVP approach) and follow through on implementation and future iterations. For us, achieving a shared outcome matters more than just building features.
Requirements
Languages: Full fluency in German (🇩🇪) is required.
Knowledge of German accounting is a strong plus.
Strong user research skills and product sense: ability to develop a clear conviction about user needs and problems based on feedback from all types of sources.
Strong, structured communication skills to persuade and secure buy-in for your vision, engage and lead the squad, build relationships with commercial teams, and speak with users regularly.
Ability to navigate and simplify complex problems: understand, break problems into manageable parts, and prioritise effectively.
Hands-on and willing to step outside the traditional product role to help the product succeed (e.g., creating educational content and enablement when needed).
Previous experience in product management at a scale-up or large tech company is required (ideally in an organisation with a strong product culture).
Experience working with accounting is not required (a generalist profile is acceptable) as long as you are curious about accounting and comfortable with complexity.
