You will manage the operation of the virtual power plants we operate
Clarify boundary conditions for the integration of PV systems, wind turbines, battery storage and other controllable systems (e.g., communication protocols, connection options)
Integrate new assets into our customers’ processes
Configure the virtual power plants
Provide customer support to achieve optimal market trading results
Assist in preparing control hardware for integration, particularly in wind turbines and battery storage systems
Analyze data in the event of technical malfunctions on assets to identify weaknesses
Analyze data to improve market potential and trading results
Requirements
Completed engineering degree (Master or Bachelor) or technical training with a background in Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or Electrical Engineering
You are motivated by responsible tasks, work cooperatively in a team, and are able to take initiative independently
You enjoy making use of scope for decision-making and work responsibly and reliably
Structured working style with the necessary level of analytical thinking
Affinity for working with IT tools (e.g., Git, Microsoft Office, GitLab, ticketing systems such as ZOHO Desk, Markdown)
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Optional: knowledge of Python or an affinity for programming
Optional: energy market knowledge is helpful for your tasks
