Own technical relationships with customers and prospects, evangelizing on a day-to-day basis in the integration space
Drive and own Proof of Concepts with prospects for identified sales opportunities
Help customers and prospects familiarize with Solace technology from conceptual to hands-on levels
Work closely with the sales team to support customers on a technical level
Run customer presentations, customer trials, customer integration/architecture
Help in the development of new accounts
Travel based on customer needs, and sometimes globally
Requirements
At least 5-10 years’ experience in technology/presales/technical strategy consulting roles in the integration space
Ability to work without sponsorship required
Ability to articulate technical concepts and solutions to various audiences, from CTOs/CIOs to Developers
Solid presentation and white-boarding skills
Customer facing experience with solid presentation and communication skills
Stakeholder engagement and technical leadership team handholding would be required
Presales experience would be an asset
Technical knowledge of messaging products such as IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS/RV and/or Open Source messaging such as Rabbit, ActiveMQ etc.
Understanding of SOA and JMS
Working knowledge of AMQP, REST, JavaScript, MQTT would all be assets
Enterprise Integration Patterns and Solution architecture experience would be an asset
Domain knowledge (from a systems integration perspective) of FSI / Telecommunications / Transportation / Insurance / Manufacturing would be very useful
Application Integration with Java, JavaScript, ESB/API tools and/or C++/C
Experience with software development in either Java or C++/C, SDKs and API integration
Working experience with Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, PaaS platforms
Overall industry knowledge about Cloud, IoT, Big Data, Digital, networking and other topical technology domains would be beneficial
