Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in external auditing and financial reporting, ideally with a Big 4 firm.
- Experience as an offshore auditor handling small to mid-sized engagements from initiation to completion.
- CA or CPA-equivalent qualification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the application of International Accounting Standards (IAS) / International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) or their Australian equivalents (AASB and AUASB).
- Experience with CaseWare and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to participate effectively in virtual meetings (MS Teams).
- Experience managing smaller engagements, including job budgets and timelines.
- Experience supervising, supporting, and mentoring junior staff.
- Passionate about process improvement and contributing to audit methodology development.
- High level of professionalism, initiative, and accountability in delivering results.
