Technology Risk & Control Associate

Role Overview

• This opportunity provides the individual with the chance to observe and support key initiatives and engage multiple levels of management and risk-related organizations which collaborate with Technology, business risk and other control functions, regionally and globally.
• Apply critical thinking to questioning, creating, and executing risk mitigation through governance activities.
• Support standardization in risk management processes and procedures.
• Participate in Risk related forums, help promote risk education and awareness, and provide summaries as appropriate.
• Monitor remediation and integration efforts and changing controls status.

Requirements

• Analytic and problem solving/process improvement skills: Ability to learn quickly and solve poorly defined problems.
• Verbal and written skill: Ability to create high quality written products that are comprehensive, accurate, and tailored to the audience.
• Interpersonal skills: Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
• Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple demands and changing priorities.
• Experience: Knowledge of risk frameworks and their application to a technology division within financial services.
