About this role
Role Overview
- Ensure that the technical solutions for hydropower projects meet contract requirements and design standards
- Work closely with the Lead Engineer to understand customer needs and design cost-effective, high-quality solutions
- Responsible for documentation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring that all deadlines are met
- Play a key role in project coordination, monitoring design progress, and resolving challenges together with the Project Manager
- Occasional travel, mainly in Sweden and Norway
Requirements
- A strong technical background, preferably a B.Sc. or M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering
- Several years of experience in electrical design and practical design tasks
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD, Febdok)
- Knowledge of relevant laws and standards (e.g., IEC, DOK80)
- Fluency in Finnish and English; Swedish is considered as an advantage
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take independent responsibility for your tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Previous experience specifically from hydropower or other power plant environments
