Develop robust, scalable and modern backend components in Java as part of a Scrum team
Actively contribute to and evolve the architecture of our platform
Implement the technical runtime of our rapid-application platform
Take responsibility for testing your own components
Work closely with other teams such as Frontend, Infrastructure and Cloud
Think across boundaries: contribute ideas, question solutions and shape decisions proactively
Help grow the team: use your experience to support and mentor less experienced team members

Several years of backend development experience with Java (senior level)
Strong understanding of service-oriented architectures (SOA)
Clean, test-driven development approach (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) and a strong quality mindset
Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Enjoy working with databases (e.g., MS SQL, MariaDB)
Good German language skills (at least B2) for smooth team communication
Willingness to work 2–3 days per week at the office in Geisenhausen — for exchange, team cohesion and real dialogue
