About this role
Role Overview
- Develop and enhance features on the SAP Commerce Cloud platform
- Work on the core layer (extensions, facades, services, DAOs, interceptors)
- Build and evolve integrations with external systems (OMS, ERP, payment gateways, etc.)
- Customize checkout, cart, pricing and promotion flows
- Participate in architectural decisions and solution design
- Provide ongoing maintenance and performance improvements
- Work with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines
- Support technical refinements and delivery planning
Requirements
- Strong experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris)
- Java development
- Experience creating and maintaining extensions
- Impex customization
- Knowledge of Backoffice and HMC
- Experience with Data Model (items.xml)
- Solr configuration (search & indexing)
- Experience with OCC APIs
- Experience with microservices-based architecture
- Experience with REST and/or SOAP integrations
- Knowledge of architectural patterns
- Experience with API versioning
- Experience with cloud environments (preferably SAP Commerce Cloud)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Docker is a plus
- Unit testing (JUnit)
- Integration with SonarQube
- Git version control
- Code review and coding standards
- Semantic versioning

- Experience working in distributed teams
- Experience in large-scale retail projects
- Experience with omnichannel architecture
