Research Specialist – Psychiatry

Role Overview

• Support the conduct of the IHOPE study (Comparing two screening approaches to PTSD in Pregnant Black Women)
• Wrap-up of the Mama bear study
• Set up experiments as prescribed by a principal investigator
• Perform defined research and laboratory tests and experiments according to prescribed protocols
• Participate in laboratory maintenance activities such as sterilization and cleaning of equipment, ordering of supplies, inventory and media preparation
• Maintain records, files and logs of work performed in laboratory notebooks and computer databases
• Compile data and records results of studies for publications, grants and seminar presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
• Skilled in collecting self-report clinical data
• Willing to conduct visits both remotely and in the Grady Memorial Hospital OB Clinic
