Role Overview
- Audit the highest value-added processes
- Assess risks and challenge the robustness of internal controls
- Help define SMART action plans
- Write clear, action-oriented audit reports
- Coordinate with specialized external firms when required
- Contribute to the development of the multi-year audit plan
- Analyze the quality of the Internal Audit function’s deliverables
- Improve methods, tools and processes
- Provide functional guidance to less experienced auditors
Requirements
- Master’s degree in economics or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of relevant internal audit experience
- Proficiency in IIA standards, internal audit methodologies and risk analysis
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint)
- Good knowledge of Dutch
- CIA, CISA, CISM certifications are an asset
