Planning and conducting supplier audits
Contract negotiations and contract drafting with suppliers
Selection, evaluation and development of suppliers
Development, optimization and implementation of category strategies
Conducting market and trend analyses
Initiation and implementation of savings, total cost of ownership (TCO) and efficiency programs
Close collaboration with internal stakeholders and interface departments
Requirements
Degree in business administration or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience
Proven experience in developing and implementing category strategies, including requirements analysis, market monitoring and supplier portfolio management
Excellent negotiation skills and experience in drafting and optimizing contracts
Expertise in national and international tenders, including bid evaluation and award recommendation
Strong understanding of TCO metrics, cost analyses and savings programs
Familiarity with procurement risks, compliance requirements, contract law and procurement governance
Confident stakeholder management at all levels
Experience contributing to process optimizations and special projects in procurement
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP MM) and eSourcing tools such as SAP Ariba
