Role Overview
- Provide expert technical support to NAVSEA/NSWC/MSC clients in ship design
- Lead engineering efforts across ship design programs
- Advise on electrical generation, propulsion, and distribution systems
- Ensure compliance with Naval and Commercial Engineering Standards
- Mentor junior engineers
- Support technical proposal development
Requirements
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Engineering (BSE/BE)
- BS/AS in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or marine engineering
- 8-15 years of experience with at least five years in US Naval Ship Engineering
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read and decipher technical electrical documentation
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance
