Lead the development and optimisation of protein bar formulations
Drive projects from concept through to commercial launch
Ensure products are scalable and perform in manufacturing, including co-man environments
Work closely with production partners during scale-up and troubleshoot issues in real time
Optimise texture, taste, nutritional targets, and shelf-life within production constraints
Own formulation changes, ingredient selection, and technical problem-solving
Ensure structured documentation, specifications, and product standards
Contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes
Stay up to date on ingredients, technologies, and trends within protein and functional nutrition

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or similar
5+ years of hands-on experience working with protein products in product development and R&D
Proven experience developing and scaling protein-based products in manufacturing environments
Experience working closely with manufacturing or co-manufacturers
Strong understanding of formulation, ingredient functionality, processing, and scaling
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges in production environments
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for results
Structured and pragmatic way of working
