The Business Analyst captures, analyses, and documents business and technical requirements, translating them into clear user stories and specifications for development teams.
They work closely with stakeholders to define needs, resolve conflicts, and ensure solutions align with business goals and processes.
The role supports projects throughout their lifecycle, including design, testing, UAT, deployment, and ongoing service improvement.
They also identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve how the business works.
Requirements
Ability to capture and define requirements, assess data, map processes, and implement improvements.
Experience in cross-process working, IT projects, IT applications, and infrastructure; knowledge of SAP and outsourced IT environments is a plus.
Excellent questioning, communication, and stakeholder management skills; able to translate complex requirements into actionable specifications.
Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise, work on own initiative, and persevere to deliver outcomes.
Demonstrates flexibility, proactive approach, innovative problem-solving, and ability to challenge constructively.
BCS qualification, understanding of legal implications of data management and best practices.
