About this role
Role Overview
- Serve as the primary owner for defect and enhancement requests related to the CapitalStream commercial loan underwriting platform
- Review, prioritize, and manage incoming requests from multiple lines of business
- Partner with business subject matter experts (SMEs) to elicit, analyze, and refine business requirements
- Translate business requirements into clear, well structured Agile user stories, including current state, future state, business needs, and acceptance criteria
- Present user stories to development and QA teams to ensure clarity, alignment, and effective execution
- Facilitate cross functional discussions between business, technology, and testing teams
- Clearly document complex concepts in a concise and actionable manner
- Support Agile ceremonies and ongoing backlog grooming activities
- Ensure solutions align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and platform capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within technology or financial services environments
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into Agile user stories
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of work items from intake through delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working cross functionally with business partners, developers, and QA teams
- Experience supporting commercial lending, loan underwriting, or originations platforms
- Prior experience working with CapitalStream or similar commercial loan systems
- Knowledge of related business areas such as BBLC, CBCU, AMG, or comparable banking lines of business
- Familiarity with commercial operations platforms such as ACBS, ACLS, CLASS, or similar systems
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments
