Lead the company-wide project to implement a Transport Management System (TMS) and, subsequently, global projects to improve structure and processes
Develop and implement the global category strategy for Logistics
Perform global analysis, structuring and further development of requirements, purchasing volumes, supplier portfolios, contracts, and procurement and logistics processes
Conduct tenders and procurement projects in an international environment, coordinating, managing and providing technical leadership for cross-functional (virtual) procurement teams
Lead price and contract negotiations
Conclude framework agreements in coordination with the relevant departments (e.g., Legal and Shipping)
Implement category-based supplier management
Prepare and deliver management presentations
Requirements
Degree in business administration, engineering/technical field, or an equivalent qualification
Solid experience in operational logistics and/or freight forwarding as well as in logistics procurement in an international environment, ideally in mechanical engineering
Proven experience managing complex transformation and change projects
Experience implementing and using Transport Management Systems (TMS)
Experience in packaging is advantageous
Strong communication skills, initiative and team orientation
High results orientation and a pragmatic working style
Good analytical and conceptual skills
Negotiation-level German and English, both written and spoken
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
