Analyze quantitative indicators of database efficiency and inefficiency and improve query response times.
Implement and administer backup/restore routines, perform user audits, run database checks, develop procedures, views, triggers, and functions, and handle other related tasks.
Monitor and apply vendor-recommended patches and fixes.
Evaluate database alternatives to meet the development team's needs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related Database field.
