Role Overview
- Improve the lives of our clients by providing financial data that helps them grow, succeed and achieve.
- Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
- Address tight deadlines with a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, cash flow management, AP, AR, payroll and reconciliations.
- Perform project accounting, including revenue and expense tracking by client, project, and engagement.
- Participate and lead accounting software implementations or integrations.
- Routinely communicate with senior-level executives and decision makers within each organization relating to financial close, issues and deliverables.
- Train and supervise staff accountants on day-to-day functions.
- Assist in corporate and business owner tax matters (as required).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field required or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial reporting including GL, AP, AR, payroll and period end closes
- Experience with multiple accounting software applications including QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, MS Business Central (MS Dynamics 365)
