Installation, configuration, maintenance, deployment and updating of database systems and application databases
Identification and resolution of incidents and problems, as well as implementation of optimization measures
Supporting application developers with questions on database modeling, writing SQL statements, transaction management and database errors
Managing or supporting root-cause analysis and remediation of errors in production systems (database systems, data constellations, job failures, application/program errors)
Requirements
You hold a completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Database Management or a related field
Alternatively, a comparable vocational qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in database administration or software development with relational databases
Strong SQL skills and expertise in the MS SQL Server database management system
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues
Understanding of security considerations related to databases
