Be part of the Architecture Board where technical decisions and architectural topics are discussed
Ensure that the solutions we build follow our architectural principles and remain maintainable in the long run
Act as a technical partner for the team, supporting colleagues during tricky problems
Share your experience during code reviews and technical discussions
Collaborate with different teams to turn new product ideas and requirements into technical solutions
Help plan and estimate upcoming projects and lead technical refinement discussions
Maintain the overall quality of what we build including code quality, maintainability, security and performance
Troubleshoot difficult issues and identify opportunities to improve architecture and systems
Onboard new developers and evaluate new tools when needed

At least five years of experience in a similar role with leadership responsibilities (hosting industry experience is a plus)
Strong experience with SQL databases and designing REST APIs
Solid understanding of modern backend and frontend architectures and experience with frameworks such as NestJS, Spring Boot, Django, React, Angular or Svelte
Experience working with event-driven systems as well as authentication and authorization concepts
Strong focus on code quality, including writing testable code and automated tests
Excellent communication skills in English and German and the ability to explain technical topics to both developers and non-technical stakeholders
Team-oriented mindset, reliability and a strong sense of ownership
Experience maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines (should-have)
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (should-have)
Ability to handle complex situations, prioritize effectively and maintain a strong results orientation (should-have)
Interest in improving system performance, scalability and architecture (should-have)
Interest in evaluating and introducing new tools or frameworks (nice-to-have)
Experience working in scalable or high-growth system environments (nice-to-have)
