Lead end-to-end bid management, including kickoff, timeline creation, resource alignment, application development, and submission
Write clear, compelling, and creative content for RFPs, RFIs, administrative permits, and other public procurement processes, often on tight deadlines. Own the review and revision cycle.
Drive the development of key themes, narrative, and messaging to ensure that proposals are competitive and resonate with local audiences, in collaboration with our graphic designer and content manager
Analyze proposal document packages from cities, identifying key priorities, criteria, eligibility, and scoring
Gather insights and build competitive strategies through productive partnerships with our local operations and policy teams as well as a wide range of other cross-functional partners, spread across several countries and time zones
Build on our established best practices, toolkits, and content library in collaboration with the other proposal team members
Travel to our most important markets on an as-needed basis to strategize and plan for upcoming projects with pre-tender workshops, consultants, and brainstorms with local teams
Requirements
5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a focus on content writing and project management
Experience with reading and analyzing regulations, bid documents, and/or city planning documents
Excellent writing skills, with a love for the written word. You have a knack for resonating with a target audience, whether it’s executive leadership, elected officials, community organizations, or local government staff
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a process-oriented mindset
Strong cross-functional collaborator with confident interpersonal and influencing skills; comfortable working across time zones and with sound judgment on when to escalate issues
Calm under pressure, with a track record of adapting to shifting priorities while producing error-free deliverables
Bachelor’s degree required, with an advanced degree preferred
Public or private sector experience in procurement is a plus
