Role Overview
- Evolve data models in PostgreSQL and implement analytical layers focused on performance and maintainability
- Optimize ingestion and transformation modules, ensuring observability and error handling in critical pipelines
- Build complex semantic models, implement logic in DAX, and enforce governance (RLS and version control)
- Maintain and enhance workers on AWS, contributing to deployments in staging and production environments
- Participate in code reviews and technical roadmap decisions alongside leadership
Requirements
- Strong ability to work with data and write modular Python code
- Advanced SQL (PostgreSQL) — window functions, CTEs, index optimization, and query plan tuning
- Experience with Jupyter for programmatic execution of notebooks
- Tabular modeling and advanced DAX in Power BI with RLS policies
- Hands-on experience with serverless architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Branching strategies and code review practices using Git
