Strategic planning: Lead the development of the strategy for the UK business and aligning departmental strategies with the organisation’s overall goals.
Translating the annual plans into clear objectives per team, you’ll drive the success of set strategies.
Responsible for mapping out long-term vision, goals, and actionable initiatives.
Drive impactful projects: Lead high-priority initiatives, overseeing cross-departmental projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and align with strategic objectives.
You own and run strategic business initiatives, allowing you to dive into various departments within the UK business.
Commercial excellence: you ensure the UK business relies on a comprehensive and robust set of KPIs to fuel high-impact decision-making and clear commercial actions.
Operational efficiency: you’ll streamline operations and improve processes to support our growth, efficiency and scalability.
Organisation: you make sure the right people are speaking with each other by organising meetings and schedules and preparing agendas, briefings, and materials for leadership meetings, management reports and company updates.
Data Analysis: Conduct research to identify industry trends, new business opportunities and supporting strategic decision making by analysing key data, presenting insights to leadership for actionable strategies.
Leadership support: You are the right hand of, and reporting to the Managing Director, gaining daily insights into the responsibilities of running a business
Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure strategy is embedded across all departments.
Requirements
Proven experience in management consulting, in-house strategy teams or a fast-paced high-growth scale up
Strategic acumen: proven ability to develop, implement, and align organisational strategies
Analytical Thinking: robust analytical and problem-solving skills, experienced in financial analysis and corporate strategy
Strong project management skills: ability to manage multiple projects and the desire to bring structure to undefined procedures
Exceptional communication: strong communication and interpersonal skills
Track record of driving business insights, actions, and accountability across organisations

You are a team player and collaborator at heart
Master’s degree in business administration, management or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
