About this role

Write, review, and adjust all estimates of property losses as assigned.
Meet with customers and vendors in person when necessary and may include climbing a roof and carrying/extending a ladder.
Report on timely, detailed, and accurate reports on all claims assigned.
Resolve all claims according to Accelerated Disputed Resolutions program.
Attend hearings, pretrials and trials as required.
Develop rapport with agents and all people in contact with daily.

Possess a strong working knowledge of policy language and interpretation and the ability to apply that knowledge.
Knowledge of claims settlement principles and practices.
Knowledge of medical technology, law, repair techniques, construction, and property estimating are also required.
Understanding and commitment to high level of customer service.
Possess clear and concise communication skills both written and oral.
Be able to analyze situations, solve problems and make decisions.
Possess a high level of self-motivation and strong interpersonal skills.
Focus on details and accuracy.
Be proficient with computers and current technology.
Bachelor's degree in business, Insurance, or related field.
Two years plus of insurance experience as claim’s representative in property & casualty insurance claims.
Field experience preferred but not required.
Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating program.
Commit to complete IIA, AIC or CPCU programs.
