IP Docketing Analyst

Role Overview

• Provide detailed, accurate information to IP attorneys and staff
• Maintain assigned docket portfolios according to established policies
• Read, sort and distribute incoming trademark mail in a timely manner
• Ensure full docket clearance on a daily basis
• Maintain an accurate docket database and provide requested reports
• Handle client and legal documents as needed

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressive Intellectual Property experience
• Strong understanding of domestic/foreign trademark matters, copyright, and TM infringements
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of docket software applications
