Responsibility for the accurate recording, coding and posting of incoming invoices, bank statements and customs assessments
Ensuring correct maintenance and reconciliation of bank accounts
Preparation and review of payment runs
Performing invoice verification in close coordination with the relevant departments
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for the assigned areas of responsibility
Assessment of VAT-related issues and preparation of monthly VAT returns
Review and verification of travel expense reports

Degree in business administration or completed commercial/vocational training
Ideally an additional qualification as a Certified Balance Sheet Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), Financial Accountant or Tax Clerk
Several years of professional experience in general ledger accounting
Experience defining and implementing new business processes, particularly digitization and automation
Good MS Office / Google Workspace skills
Confident use of accounting software, preferably SAP Business One
Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2), both written and spoken
