Process Control Network Technician

Role Overview

• Design, manage, and monitor information systems on our production network
• Work with various departments to analyze current systems and suggest improvements
• Strive to provide positive user experiences while being aware of the pressures of a 24-hour production environment
• Develop and maintain local networks, computers, and production systems in ways that optimize performance
• Evaluate current technology and implement effective hardware and software solutions to fulfill the company’s needs
• Uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management (IM), Information Technology, Applied Science-Cyber Physical Systems, Engineering, or enrolled in an accredited college
• Networking and switch maintenance
• At least 1-year working experience configuring network hardware like computer setup, servers, routers, and switches
• FTP experience
• SNMP Experience
• Wonderware Experience
• VM Ware Tools and 10 zig management
