About this role
Role Overview
- Provide support for production databases including performance monitoring, daily management to prevent data loss, unplanned downtime or performance degradation
- Install, administer, and maintain schema and data to ensure maximum availability
- Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware and application software
- Monitor and optimize data lake ingestion processes
- Participates in a 24x7x365 OnCall Rotation
- Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and testing exercises
Requirements
- 5 + years of overall IT experience working with SaaS or web development
- 5+ years of hands on SQL Server Database administration
- 3-5 years experience with SQL Server Extended Events
- Proficient using Powershell
- 3+ years of managing SQL Server Database in Azure
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field
