Build intermediate to advanced financial models from the ground up to support scenario and sensitivity analysis for various financial outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare accurate financial forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with our regional analysts.
Analyze monthly actuals against budgets and forecasts. Develop a deep understanding of key drivers, such as volume, rate & mix and customer economics, to provide clear explanations for variances.
Gain an understanding of contractual obligations with schemes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve and automate current reporting processes. Demonstrate an openness to new ideas and a willingness to implement process changes that increase efficiency and accuracy.
Accurately reconcile scheme volumes to ensure precise invoicing of schemes and proper accrual of associated fees and incentives.
Leverage monthly financial results and performance data to forecast potential financial opportunities and risks, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Requirements
Ideally fully qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
A fundamental understanding of core financial concepts, including P&L and balance sheets and accrual accounting.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex financial models and manipulate large datasets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to learn and grow within the finance sector.
