The RA SAP ABAP functional developer is responsible for designing, coding, and modifying SAP applications to meet the Global Revenue Management and Rockwell Automation specific requirements.
They work closely with the GRM team and other RA SAP functional personnel to implement and deploy changes to SAP and other integrated or interfaced systems.
Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents, and conduct unit, integration and release testing to validate functionality.
Support end-users Acceptance Testing activities, and participate in Production Operations and Release Management support; Assist with upgrades, new releases and monitor performance of the technical objects; BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, LSMW, writing user exits, BDC coding, and interfaces; SAP ABAP/4 programming using: SAPScript, iDocs, BAPI, RFC;
Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents; assist in defining and documenting SAP Best Practices in an Agile Framework Code change and code review.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.
1 – 4 years of experience in ABAP Programming is required
Experienced in RICEF developments
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Programming experience in SD & Vistex modules
Experience in SAP Enhancement Framework
Experience in ABAP Object Oriented Programming
Knowledge in web services (SOAP/REST/HTTP POST)
Knowledge in web developments (PHP, HTML, XSLT, XML, JSON)
