Define and maintain the Target State Enterprise Architecture that enables seamless integration of Agentic, Generative AI, Machine Learning (ML), and LLMs across all business units.
Develop architectural blueprints that bridge the gap between legacy systems, SaaS systems and modern, AI-ready cloud environments.
Partner with the Head of Data to ensure the data architecture provides the high-quality, low-latency fuel required for AI models, ensuring models are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
Establish and lead an Architecture Review Board (ARB) to ensure consistency across Data Application and Infrastructure layers.
Define "North Star" architectures for PV & CRO.
Mature data governance to align with the enterprise architecture.
Ensure all architectural designs adhere to global regulations, including GCP (Good Clinical Practice), 21CFR Part 11, and GDPR.
Standardize data exchange protocols using FHIR, CDISC, and HL7 to ensure seamless interoperability with sponsors and healthcare providers.
Partner with the CISO to bake "Security by Design" into every layer of the tech stack.
Act as a technical consultant to executive leadership on emerging trends like blockchain in clinical trial or Quantum computing’s impact on drug discovery.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, public health, computer science, or related field required
Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, MS, MBA) preferred
Training or certification in product management, agile methodologies, or project management is advantageous
