Lead end-to-end design, analysis, and implementation of engineering solutions for moderate-to-high complexity projects
Act as a technical resource and subject matter expert within Steam Turbine Design & Integration, providing global guidance to project teams and stakeholders
Review and approve engineering documentation and deliverables to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
Drive innovation & stay current with relevant technologies, regulations, and industry trends by attending conferences and interfacing with academia
Mentor and coach next generation engineers; facilitate knowledge sharing across teams
Requirements
major experience in Engineering/Technology & Services Engineering
knowledge level is comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college
demonstrated expertise in Mechanical Design, including: material properties, statics/dynamics, strength of materials, fluid dynamics, lifing methods related to fatigue (LCF & HCF), Stress/Strain, Creep, Heat Transfer
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
at least 8 additional years of experience in an engineering capacity
