Learning tools, libraries and services that support Canva engineers in building secure software.
Identifying security controls in Canva’s compute, platform engineering, and cloud infrastructure disciplines.
Learning new and emerging security technologies that make it easier to reliably maintain platform and infrastructure security.
Discovery and triage of vulnerabilities across Canva’s threat landscape.

You are currently enrolled and completing your studies between 2027 and mid-2028.
You are based in Australia or New Zealand and have working rights.
You have an interest and passion for cyber security.
Proficient with one or more modern program languages (Golang, Python or Java preferred).
Ability to work with a range of Canvanauts from different backgrounds, with different expertise, and with different professional and personal needs.
You are excited to explore AI tools and use them in smart, helpful ways to boost your workflow.
You are able to commit to the 12-week, full-time summer program from early December 2026 to late February 2027.
