Participate in establishing and developing the architecture for gameplay features of an online project.
Design, implement, and integrate game features that leverage online services.
Provide technical guidance and empower game designers to realize their vision and ambitions.
Work closely with other gameplay programmers, UI/UX, network and online teams on the project to ensure smooth interoperability with other game components.
Stay current with best practices and emerging online service technologies to deliver the best possible online experience.
Requirements
Strong command of object-oriented programming and C++.
Experience developing for Sony and Microsoft consoles is a plus.
Experience with back-end services and in a DevOps environment (or other relevant experience) is a plus.
Familiarity with online services such as PlayFab, Vivox, and AccelByte is a plus.
Knowledge of Python or .NET Core is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases is a plus.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker is a plus.
