Role Overview
Design, develop, and implement predictive models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to uncover patterns and trends within structured and unstructured data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and formulate data-driven solutions that drive innovation and optimize performance.
Conduct comprehensive data analysis, including data cleansing, feature engineering, and model evaluation, to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.
Apply advanced machine learning techniques, such as deep learning, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning, to develop state-of-the-art models.
Work with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks to process and analyze large-scale datasets efficiently.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and proactively apply new techniques to enhance existing methodologies.
Communicate complex technical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s/Masters/PHD in Computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent field
5+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist, ideally at a product-focused software company
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets and applying predictive analytics
Good knowledge of statistics and experiment design
Strong expertise in programming languages such as Python, (Java recommended) along with experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn and SQL.
Solid understanding of deep learning architectures and their applications
Reporting and dashboarding tools (e.g. PowerBI)
Experience working with technologies for large-scale data collection and data processing (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Hive)
Familiarity with Azure technologies (e.g. Power BI, Databricks)
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
