Lead the planning and execution of commissioning activities for data centre development projects across the APAC region.
Ensure all critical systems and infrastructure components are properly tested, validated, and operationally ready prior to handover.
Assist in the development and implementation of the global commissioning program to meet the APAC regional requirements while maintaining consistent quality and compliance across data centre projects.
Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning strategies and methodologies aligned with industry best practices and company standards.
Create and manage detailed commissioning schedules, ensuring integration with the overall project timeline.
Oversee testing and validation of critical systems including power distribution, cooling, fire protection, security, and IT infrastructure.
Report commissioning progress, issues, and resolutions to senior leadership.
Requirements
Extensive knowledge of prime contracts including lump sum, GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price), hard bid, negotiated, design-build, etc.
Extensive knowledge of P6 Critical path scheduling systems, overall project cost control, budgeting, and value engineering as applied to buildings and systems used in Data Center project delivery.
Understanding of Project Management, Planning, Construction Management, and Data Centers.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing commissioning teams across multiple APAC countries, with a focus on building local technical capabilities while ensuring consistent standards and practices throughout the region.
Strong executive presence – able to convey complex and technical concepts to a non-construction audience.
Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential, as this role requires clear and effective coordination with international stakeholders and technical teams across the APAC region.
