Serve as the FinOps subject matter expert for our customer base — answering complex questions about cloud rate optimization, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and the ProsperOps platform
Lead onboarding and implementation support, bringing new customers up to speed on FinOps concepts and how our platform works
Address ongoing support inquiries and ad hoc customer requests quickly and accurately
Introduce and explain new products and features to existing customers
Partner with the Product team to develop and refine new optimization services that enhance customer discount outcomes
Identify patterns across customer interactions to surface insights that improve our platform and processes
Requirements
Deep, hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud FinOps concepts — particularly Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and cloud cost & usage data
Strong customer orientation and interpersonal communication — detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills — you cut through noise, find the signal, and act on it
Unafraid of math! Comfort working with numbers, complex billing data, and spreadsheet-based analysis
Meticulous attention to details
Startup mentality — high integrity, curious, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred)
Experience with FinOps tools or platforms (preferred)
Background in cloud consulting, technical account management, or customer success in a SaaS environment (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (preferred)
Background in finance, accounting, or billing operations in a technology environment (preferred)
