Assist the After Sales Supervisor in carrying out the duties necessary in supporting the service department and providing industry leading customer service.
Act as a first point of contact for inbound Service calls/enquiries in a proactive, professional and efficient manner, obtaining customer details, order numbers or other authorisation when required.
Assist in coordinating parts, labour, tooling and other necessary resources required for the efficient completion of any job.
Raise and process Sales Orders, Work Orders, Purchase Requests and Invoices both internally and to customers.
Close jobs in a timely manner justifying costs incurred to both external and internal customers and ensure effective management of the depot’s WIP ready for Invoicing.
Liaising with customers to schedule the maintenance of machines and ensuring the complete schedules and defects are controlled through the Service mailbox and sent to customers in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively with Field Service Engineers, suppliers and internal departments to support efficient operations and to compile and prepare estimates for secondary work to generate sales.
Support the preparation of estimates and defect documentation for additional work.
Take the lead dealing with suppliers, raising purchase order numbers and closing these upon goods arrival.
Identify additional sales opportunities through service interactions.
Maintain an organised system of work, ensuring filing and documentation are handled in a timely manner and logically filed.
Requirements
Able to demonstrate competencies and skills for the role through service-related experience in a similar industry.
Ability to use own initiative.
Able to demonstrate ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.
Good communicator at all levels.
