Development and implementation of material group and supplier strategies with responsibility at both corporate and division level
Sustainable optimization of the supplier portfolio and further development of supplier relationship management
Design and continuous improvement of the supply chain
Requesting quotations for materials and product-related capital expenditures, evaluating offers, and independently conducting negotiations with suppliers
Responsible for achieving cost and performance targets
Pursuing corporate objectives while minimizing risks
Collaboration to develop and implement material group, supplier and innovation strategies
Trusted expert for all matters related to strategic purchasing and procurement within the company and across company boundaries
Master data maintenance (prices, terms, etc.)
Requirements
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Business Administration
Professional experience in purchasing or supply chain management
Good technical and commercial understanding
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and confident use of an ERP system
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with an analytical and solution-oriented working style
Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel
