About this role

Draft, negotiate, and review of commercial transactions, contracts and agreements; providing counsel regarding interpretation of active contracts, and handling contractual dispute resolution.
Significant involvement in contractual matters throughout entire contract lifecycle, from formation to termination, for agreements pertaining to diverse subjects
Manage multiple contracts and projects in a deadline driven environment
Work with the legal and risk management department and business leadership to assist/lead on a variety of projects related to process improvements, risk mitigation and legal policy development
Collaborate with external vendors and legal counsel as necessary

Juris Doctorate degree required
At least 5 years of experience in a law firm (preferably Am Law 100 firm)
Ability to work effectively within a demanding, deadline-driven environment
Experience with information privacy laws, HIPPA, PHI, BAA and related agreements and information privacy laws preferred
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required
Project Management experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as a member of a team required
Travel up to 10%
