Own Workers Comp Platform Capabilities: Discover, define, and deliver the technology functionality required to run the workers compensation program, from quote-to-bind through policy servicing.
Lead PAS Integration: Drive the integration between ISCx and the Policy Administration System, ensuring seamless data flow, accurate policy issuance, and operational efficiency.
Configure Program Builder: Leverage ISC's Program Builder to configure carriers, products, question sets, and underwriting rules without requiring engineering effort.
Drive Cross-Sell Strategy: Define and implement cross-sell opportunities between workers comp and other ISC products (GL, BOP, etc.) to maximize broker value and premium growth.
Optimize Broker Experience: Ensure the end-to-end broker experience for workers comp is intuitive, fast, and competitive, from submission through policy delivery.
Collaborate with Engineering and Design: Work closely with engineering, design, and data teams to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and an exceptional user experience.
Partner with Insurance Operations: Collaborate with underwriting, carrier management, and operations teams to translate business requirements into platform capabilities.
Drive Discovery and Iteration: Use customer research, data analysis, and rapid prototyping to validate solutions before committing to full development.
Manage Stakeholders: Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to leadership through SteerCo and other governance forums.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of product management experience, with a focus on technical products in a technology-driven environment
Experience in insurance or Insurtech is a plus.
Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows.
Discovery Mindset: Comfortable working in ambiguity, validating assumptions through research and experimentation, and iterating based on learnings.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Agile Experience: Experience with agile methodologies and product development frameworks.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of commercial insurance, workers compensation, or related fields is an advantage but not required.
