Java Backend Developer – Especialista

Role Overview

• Act as the technical reference for Java Backend development and financial integrations within the team
• Serve as the focal point for resolving critical and recurring issues related to the integration of financial transactions
• Ensure the stability, reliability and continuous evolution of financial integrations, working proactively and reactively
• Bridge business needs with efficient technical solutions, ensuring alignment between functional areas and technology
• Support technical leadership in architectural decision-making and prioritization of maintenance and enhancement requests
• Directly engage in the analysis and resolution of complex incidents, identifying and addressing root causes of recurring failures in integrations
• Design and evolve integration solutions between internal systems, ensuring robustness, performance and resilience
• Propose structural improvements to reduce operational rework and increase the reliability of financial processes
• Monitor and act on integration flows, ensuring traceability, observability and rapid failure detection
• Work closely with business areas to understand financial rules and translate them into appropriate technical solutions
• Support and mentor less senior developers, promoting technical growth and dissemination of best practices
• Define and enforce development, integration and code quality standards for the backend ecosystem
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration system architecture, considering scalability, decoupling and maintainability
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (business, QA, operations) to ensure consistent and aligned deliveries
• Actively participate in impact diagnostics and planning of enhancements related to integrated financial processes
